Energuate has continued its reforestation initiative, ENERGUATE VERDE 2024, in the regions of Coatepeque, Quetzaltenango and Ayutla, San Marcos. The company reported that over 2,500 trees were planted in these areas with the participation of students, local residents and Energuate employees.
The company's goal is to plant more than 52,000 plants from 14 different species by the end of the year within its service area.
"Let’s join together, leave your mark, plant a tree. We create connections that transform lives," stated Energuate in its announcement.
The project forms part of Energuate's ongoing commitment to sustainable development in Guatemala.
