The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Guatemala (MINEX Guatemala) posted a series of updates on December 2, 2025, addressing international relations, support for women’s safety, and consular services for Guatemalans abroad.
In its first message, MINEX Guatemala extended greetings to the United Arab Emirates on its national day. The ministry stated: " | Guatemala saluda y felicita al Pueblo y Gobierno de Emiratos Árabes Unidos en ocasión de su Día Nacional. #RelacionesConElMundo @mofauae" (December 2, 2025).
Addressing domestic concerns, the ministry emphasized efforts to protect women from violence. On December 2, 2025, MINEX Guatemala wrote: "#CambiemosLasFormas | La violencia física afecta más que el cuerpo: rompe entornos, oportunidades y tranquilidad. Por eso el Gobierno de Guatemala refuerza continuamente sus mecanismos de atención y apoyo para garantizar la seguridad de todas las mujeres."
The same day, MINEX Guatemala highlighted outreach efforts in the United States through mobile consular services. The post read: "#GuatemalaCercaDeTi | El @ConsGTLasVegas efectuó recientemente su Consulado Móvil en la ciudad de Reno, Nevada, donde se brindaron servicios de documentación consular a la comunidad guatemalteca, facilitando el acceso a los trámites en el lugar donde residen." (December 2, 2025).
MINEX Guatemala is responsible for managing the country’s foreign policy and supporting Guatemalan citizens living abroad through its network of embassies and consulates.
