The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Guatemala (MINEX) is responsible for representing the country abroad and providing support to Guatemalan citizens living overseas. The "Sábados Consulares" are special service days designed to assist nationals with documentation and other needs outside regular business hours. Mobile consulates allow the ministry to reach communities far from permanent diplomatic offices. The Peacebuilding Fund (PBF), supported by the United Nations, aims to promote stability and address root causes of conflict in countries like Guatemala.
