Ministerio de Comunicaciones reports on roadworks and housing initiatives for Baja Verapaz

The message highlighted that local mayors and community development councils met with the Ministry of Communications to discuss ongoing and future road projects in the region.

A follow-up tweet posted moments later elaborated on specific projects: " Además, se informó sobre proyectos en fase final, como el Puente Chitomax en Cubulco, y el inicio de la obra nueva en la RD-BV-18, tramo Cubulco – Pacaní – Chitomax. También continúan los trabajos de mantenimiento en rutas del departamento. #PlanConecta2025" This communication reported that the Chitomax Bridge project in Cubulco is nearing completion and that new construction has begun on the RD-BV-18 route connecting Cubulco, Pacaní, and Chitomax.
