The Ministerio de Cultura y Deportes de Guatemala shared updates on its official Twitter account regarding recent cultural events and internal recognitions. The tweets, posted on November 14, 2025, highlighted both a musical performance and acknowledgments for longstanding staff contributions.

In a post published at 21:44 UTC, the Ministry reported: "Guatemala | La Marimba de Concierto de Bellas Artes dio una espectacular presentación en la Fundación Margarita Tejada como parte del acto de cierre del ciclo escolar 2025, cautivando a cada alumno." The message noted that the Marimba de Concierto de Bellas Artes performed at Fundación Margarita Tejada during the closing ceremony of the 2025 school year.

Later in the evening, at 22:05 UTC, another tweet stated: " En esta cartera valoramos a todas las personas que están detrás del Palacio Nacional de la Cultura, por ello, hemos entregado reconocimientos a 25 integrantes de nuestro equipo que cumplen más de 10 años de labor." The Ministry recognized twenty-five team members who have worked for more than ten years supporting operations behind the Palacio Nacional de la Cultura.

A further message from the same minute included a quote from Vice Minister Cotí Lux: "La viceministra Cotí Lux destacó: “El patrimonio es vivo y es gracias a ustedes, pero también gracias a que contamos con personal que los guía y que los lidera”.

The Palacio Nacional de la Cultura is one of Guatemala’s most significant landmarks and serves as an administrative center for cultural affairs. The Marimba is considered Guatemala’s national instrument and frequently features in official ceremonies and celebrations.
