The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food (MAGA) held a Mobile Integrated Services Day at the municipal social hall in Gualán, Zacapa. The event was organized by the Vice Ministry of Agricultural Health and Regulations (VISAR) to inform local producers about the programs and services available through the institution.

Producers, livestock farmers, and transporters received guidance on services provided by the Animal Health Directorate (DSA) and the Department of Epidemiological Surveillance and Risk Analysis. Specialists offered advice on endemic diseases that require mandatory reporting and distributed informational materials outlining requirements for transporting and handling pork products.

Epidemiologists Lesbia Calderón Aguirre, Marco Vinicio de Paz Ordóñez, and Gudiel Guzmán Cordón from Animal Health in Zacapa attended to questions from participants about agricultural health issues.

"With these actions, MAGA reaffirms its commitment to bringing technical and agricultural health services closer to rural communities, promoting productive development and the prevention of animal diseases," stated representatives from MAGA.
