As part of its ongoing efforts in rural development, MAGA Guatemala has shared updates on recent initiatives in the Quiché department through a series of posts dated December 5, 2025. The organization detailed agricultural support programs and highlighted the declaration of several municipalities as free from dirt floors.
Additionally, technical assistance was emphasized by officials. (December 5, 2025).
The declaration of municipalities as "territorios libres de pisos de tierra" is part of broader government strategies aimed at improving living conditions and agricultural productivity in rural areas. The Mano a Mano GT initiative seeks to coordinate intersectoral actions for rural welfare by addressing both housing and food security challenges.
MAGA Guatemala plays a central role in supporting family agriculture across various departments in the country through training programs and distribution of resources such as seeds and farming tools.
