The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food (MAGA) organized a workshop aimed at helping young people develop skills in sausage production. The event took place in Tactic, Alta Verapaz, as part of the ministry's Rural Youth program.

A total of 21 participants from the ECOS Youth Rural Learning Center (CADER) attended the training. The workshop was held at MAGA’s Agricultural Training School laboratory in Cobán.

During the session, attendees learned how to make different types of artisanal sausages, including German sausage, Coban-style longaniza, and red chorizo.

The training focused on helping young people start small businesses and earn additional income, particularly during the holiday season. The activity was carried out in partnership with the Youth Office of the Municipality of Tactic.
