Students in the Master's program in Public Image Consulting and Strategic Media Planning at Universidad Galileo recently took part in an academic exercise simulating a real-time press conference. The activity, held by the School of Public Image at Universidad Galileo, allowed second-year students to assume roles such as ministers, vice-ministers, and journalists within a simulated communication setting.

The simulation focused on "Challenges in Infrastructure: Transparency and Government Actions." During the event, participants discussed issues like road conditions, budget execution, and key public sector projects. The aim was to inform about government measures regarding infrastructure and clarify rumors related to the use of funds allocated to the Ministry of Communications, Infrastructure and Housing (CIV).

Other students from the School of Public Image were invited as observers. This allowed for broader participation and provided additional learning opportunities through observation and analysis.

According to organizers, these types of experiences are intended to foster critical thinking and analytical skills when dealing with real-world communication scenarios. The program seeks to provide comprehensive training that goes beyond traditional classroom learning.

"The dramatization of the press conference was consolidated as an example of academic innovation, where students faced the challenge of communicating, analyzing, and responding in a simulated but realistic environment. This type of practice reinforces Universidad Galileo's mission to train professionals with critical vision, strategic capacity, and commitment to society," stated representatives from Universidad Galileo.

The university highlights that such exercises are designed not only for skill development but also for encouraging social impact through effective public communication.
