A person suffered serious injuries after falling from a height of about 15 meters inside a shopping center in zone 5 of Retalhuleu. The incident, which took place on October 19, 2025, prompted immediate action from emergency services.
Teams from Cruz Roja Guatemalteca and CVB arrived at the scene shortly after being alerted by bystanders. According to responders, they found the victim with multiple severe injuries as a result of the fall. After quickly assessing the situation, emergency personnel stabilized the individual using specialized immobilization equipment and advanced life support measures.
The identity of the injured person has not been disclosed. Emergency units reported that the injuries are significant and pose a serious risk to the individual's life. The victim was transported urgently to a medical facility for further treatment.
