Teams from Cruz Roja Guatemalteca responded quickly to the scene, providing pre-hospital care to the teenager. According to rescuers, "the young man had multiple traumas that seriously compromised his health." After being stabilized at the site, he was transported urgently to Hospital General San Juan de Dios, where he remains under medical care.

Witnesses reported that the collision happened on a busy street, which temporarily caused traffic disruption in the area. Traffic authorities managed vehicle flow and assisted rescue operations.
