The Guatemalan Social Security Institute (Instituto Guatemalteco de Seguridad Social, IGSS) has announced an external call for applications to fill a specialist medical position in gynecology and obstetrics. The vacancy is for an eight-hour specialist doctor at the Dr. Juan José Arévalo Bermejo General Hospital, located in Guatemala City.
According to the announcement, interested candidates must submit their applications by November 10, 2025. The recruitment process is managed by the Human Resources Sub-Management of IGSS.
This call is part of ongoing efforts by IGSS to address staffing needs at its healthcare facilities across Guatemala.
