The Modular Hospital 3 and 4, an extension of the General Hospital of Diseases, marked its third anniversary as a specialized center for hemato-oncological patients. The hospital has become an important part of care for those undergoing complex treatments, providing facilities focused on dignity and quality.

To commemorate the occasion, nursing staff organized activities aimed at promoting teamwork, self-care, and motivation among colleagues. These efforts are considered key to maintaining empathetic and efficient service delivery.

During the celebration, nurses from the Hemato-Oncology Service participated in integration activities that included group dynamics, moments of reflection, and recognition of their daily commitment to patient care. Symbolic awards were given to nurses for their dedication to hemato-oncological patients. The hospital's nursing team is recognized for its pioneering work in patient care and emotional support during recovery.

“Es un privilegio estar en Modulares, los servicios tienen buena ventilación y buena iluminación, hay muchas ventajas para los colaboradores,” said Devora Guzmán, head of the Women’s Hemato-Oncology Nursing Service. She has worked three years at Modulares and 24 years at the Instituto.

Under Jessica Figueroa’s leadership as head of Nursing Staff, Modular Hospital 3 and 4 continues to provide quality care to insured patients in Hemato-Oncology. The anniversary event not only celebrated time passed but also highlighted ongoing improvements toward more humane and efficient service—reflecting the mission of the General Hospital of Diseases to offer hope and comprehensive care.
