Energuate has launched a project to install five kilometers of environmentally friendly cable in the Suchitepéquez region. The initiative aims to replace conventional lines and is expected to improve the electricity supply for more than 9,000 users in the municipalities of Río Bravo and Santa Bárbara.

In the project's first phase, 2.6 kilometers of network have already been installed. The total investment amounts to Q1.8 million. According to Energuate, this upgrade will provide a more stable and reliable service, allowing residents to carry out their daily activities with greater confidence.

The company also states that the new solution will help protect nature by reducing the need for vegetation pruning. "This improvement will allow a more stable, reliable and continuous service and will boost the development of communities, enabling residents to carry out their daily activities with greater confidence and peace of mind," said Energuate in a statement.

"Besides the direct benefits for neighbors, this solution will allow us to preserve nature and reduce the need for vegetation pruning. In this way, we contribute to conserving the environment and building a more sustainable future for everyone," according to Energuate.
