The Guatemalan Ministry of Education (Mineduc Guatemala) recently issued a series of public service announcements on its official X account, addressing health, safety, and transparency for families and students in the country.

On December 6, 2025, Mineduc Guatemala posted a message encouraging healthy habits: "Siempre toma agua pura. Tus riñones te lo agradecerán. Cuida tu salud desde adentro. Para tu salud #EligeLoMejor".

A day later, on December 7, 2025, the ministry addressed parents about child protection measures: " Padres y madres: si sospechan de abuso contra sus hijos o hijas, no guarden silencio. El 1510 está para ayudarlos. Llama y denuncia. Proteger a tus hijos e hijas también es actuar. #NoMásViolenciaSexual #1510Cuéntalo #Denuncia".

Later that same day, Mineduc Guatemala reminded citizens about the free nature of its educational programs and provided channels for reporting irregularities: "Todos los programas del Ministerio de Educación son gratuitos. Si te piden dinero, denúncialo: al 1503. También en https://t.co/CwSVT062Kx o de manera presencial en planta central y en las Direcciones Departamentales de Educación de tu localidad. Recuerda estar informado en https://t.co/SbqnK0OFYA".

The Ministry of Education in Guatemala is responsible for setting educational policy and overseeing schools nationwide. Its recent communications reflect ongoing efforts to promote public health, protect children from abuse by providing dedicated hotlines for reports, and ensure transparency in education services by emphasizing that all official programs are free of charge.
