Forty-two small-scale cattle farmers in the municipalities of Chiquimulilla, Taxisco, and Guazacapán in Santa Rosa have taken part in a technical training session on the role of mineral salts in bovine nutrition. The event was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food (MAGA) through its Vice Ministry of Rural Economic Development.
During the training, participants received instruction from MAGA professionals on proper dosage, management, and efficient use of these supplements. The focus was to improve livestock nutrition, health, and reproduction. Each farmer was given a sack of mineral salts to help them apply what they learned.
According to organizers, "With these actions, MAGA continues strengthening livestock production and contributing to the well-being and sustainable development of rural families in Santa Rosa."
