Mineduc Guatemala announces new secondary schools and reiterates free program policy

Later that day at 20:06 UTC, the ministry highlighted an expansion in public secondary education opportunities. According to the tweet: "¡La educación secundaria pública crece! Miles de adolescentes y jóvenes que antes no tenían acceso a la secundaria pública, hoy sí lo tendrán. Más de 500 nuevos institutos abrirán en 2026 para que 25 mil estudiantes sigan aprendiendo. At 21:00 UTC, Mineduc Guatemala reminded citizens that all its educational programs are free of charge and provided information for reporting any demands for payment. The tweet read: "Todos los programas del Ministerio de Educación son gratuitos. Si te piden dinero, denúncialo: al 1503.
