The posts highlight the participation of hundreds of students and emphasize the importance of fiscal education for youth.
On November 8, 2025, the ministry shared: " Tres jornadas llenas de aprendizaje, energía y entusiasmo marcaron la visita del Programa Cultura Fiscal al Instituto Nacional de Educación Básica con Orientación Ocupacional en Coatepeque, Quetzaltenango. Más de 600 estudiantes participaron activamente en estas". In a subsequent post on the same day, it stated: "¡Formar a estos jóvenes en temas fiscales es sembrar esperanza en el futuro del país! Gracias a todas y todos los que hicieron posible esta experiencia transformadora. Porque los jóvenes informados, críticos y participativos son quienes harán de Guatemala un mejor lugar para".
The following day, November 9, 2025, the ministry reported another event at a different local institute: " Más de 400 estudiantes del Instituto Nacional de Educación Básica con Orientación Comercial “Prof. Claudio López Maldonado” en Coatepeque, Quetzaltenango, fueron parte del Programa Cultura Fiscal, una iniciativa que promueve el aprendizaje sobre la cultura fiscal y el".
The Programa Cultura Fiscal is an initiative by Guatemala's Ministry of Public Finance aimed at fostering understanding and engagement with fiscal matters among young people. Through workshops and educational sessions held in schools across the country, the program seeks to build awareness about public finance and taxation as fundamental components for national development.
