In a tweet posted on November 7, 2025, the ministry stated: "#Guatemala y Türkiye celebran su amistad a través de la música. El Palacio Nacional de la Cultura fue el escenario del concierto “Türkiye en Guatemala: Alla Turca Ornamenti”, organizado con el objetivo de reforzar los lazos de amistad y cooperación entre ambas naciones."
Laura Cotí Lux, Vice Minister of Cultural and Natural Heritage, commented on the significance of bilateral relations during the event. In a post from the same date, she was quoted as saying: "esta noche, la dualidad y la cooperación que caracterizan las relaciones diplomáticas entre Türkiye y Guatemala nos permiten reconocer puntos en común y fortalecer nuestros lazos culturales."
The Turkish Ambassador to Guatemala, Beliz Celasin Rende, also addressed attendees. As shared by the ministry in another tweet on November 7, 2025: "Durante la velada, la Embajadora de Türkiye, Beliz Celasin Rende, destacó la importancia de la relación entre ambos países y señaló que, a través de las melodías y ritmos, se fortalecen los vínculos de amistad y entendimiento mutuo entre las naciones."
This concert is part of ongoing efforts by both countries to enhance their diplomatic and cultural relationships through public events and exchanges. The National Palace of Culture in Guatemala City often serves as a venue for international cultural activities aimed at fostering cooperation.
