The Ministry of Education of Guatemala, known as Mineduc Guatemala, used its official Twitter account on November 7, 2025, to share messages addressing public safety, health, and transparency in education.

In a post published at 17:00 UTC, the ministry encouraged individuals to report situations that make them feel uncomfortable or threatened. The tweet stated: " Si alguien te hace sentir incómodo, inseguro o amenazado, no te calles. Denuncia al 1510. No estás solo/a. Tu voz importa.

Later the same day at 21:00 UTC, the ministry emphasized that all its educational programs are free of charge and provided information for reporting any solicitation of payment.

Mineduc Guatemala is responsible for managing the national education system and frequently uses social media to inform citizens about their rights and available resources. The promotion of hotlines such as "1510" and "1503" is part of ongoing efforts by Guatemalan authorities to combat sexual violence and corruption within public services.
