Ministry provides technical support at mobile services day in Zacapa

The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food (MAGA) took part in the Mobile Integrated Services Day held in Gualán, Zacapa. The event was coordinated by the Executive Coordination Secretariat of the Presidency (SCEP).

MAGA's departmental team provided information and technical support to local residents. This included guidance on the Food for Actions program, agricultural advice for local crops, and monitoring of diseases affecting domestic and production animals.

Residents also received information about the Animal Protection and Welfare Law (Decree 05-2017) and seeds of staple grains produced by the Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology (ICTA).

During the event, MAGA distributed informational materials such as brochures on bovine rabies. The ministry also displayed equipment used for sample collection and livestock disease management.

According to MAGA, "This type of activity is part of our commitment to work for the agricultural and livestock development of the country."

The event aimed to help Gualán residents improve their production methods and quality of life.
